| Description | There is a gap in the minutes between Mar 1929-May 1933; the original second volume (marked 'Volume 2' in gold tooling on the front of the volume) of the minutes was lost prior to the transfer of the records to archives, apparently by being left on an Underground train.
SBHB/SF/1/2 includes the signatures of those present at meetings; minutes of meetings; elections of officers and members; printed rules; lists of officers and members; accounts; notes on rules and procedures; notices of forthcoming dinners; correspondence with guests of honour; records of subscriptions; records of attendance; and a printed 'List of the Duties of the Clerk to the Fountain Club', 1927. Later volumes mainly contain signatures of those present and minutes of meetings, though some correspondence and miscellaneous items are also included. |
