London: Charles Skipper & East, 1893 (ref: SBHB MU/16) indicates that this image was originally one of a collection of four similar photographs taken by Guy Stephen at the Leper Hospital donated to the Pathology Museum. The location of the other three images is unknown; they appear to have been lost or destroyed before transfer to St Bartholomew's Hospital Archives.
