From 1847/1848 the minutes include the Medical Council's recommendations for appointments to intermediate clinical posts (assistant physicians and surgeons, registrars, chief assistants, lecturers, and other posts below the rank of Physicians or Surgeon to the hospital). Recommendations for appointments of Physicians and Surgeons are given from c1903. Appointments to junior posts (dressers, house surgeons, house physicians are not included). |
