| Description | Most files have application forms to the London Hospital Nursing School. Other material contained in the files includes duty records, sick leave cards, performance reviews often written by the Matron. Many files have correspondence usually dating from after the nurse had left the hospital. There is often a copy reference completed for prospective employers and in some cases there are small photographs of the nurse attached to the application forms.
In almost every file there is a report written by the Matron on the nurses leaving the hospital summarising their career and duties as a nurse at The London Hospital. |
