Administrative history | This association was formed in 1950 to facilitate the management of Linden Hall, a hostel in the Cromwell Road, London, owned by the London Hospital and occupied, initially by physiotherapy and radiography students and later by nurses and other staff. When Linden Hall was sold, the Association took over the management of the Three Feathers Club (a staff social club on the London Hospital precinct). After the dissolution of the Board of Governors in 1974 and the formation of the Special Trustees of The London Hospital, the Association ceased to perform a useful function and was wound up, formally, in 1977. |
